HOWS SHE CUTTING? MR CHRISTY MOORE YOU WILL NEVER BE STUCK FOR A BED AT MY PLACE. OR A MEAL AND A DRINk.! will treat you like a king and you don’t have to sing…….PLEASE DO A GIG IN FINSBURY PARK N4 AGAIN.OH I STAYED IN KINNARD WEST.IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST SWEET DREAMS SLAN GO FOIL LIAM OMURCU
Congratulations to Rebecca, glad the gig went so well, the songs were certainly a great choice. Saw the documentary on Rob Burrow last month, what a brave family. My son is a rugby league fan and was involved in a fundraiser for Rob organised through Leigh Rugby, it involved him dressing as a fairy, he’s 6’4”, scary.
Had a bad week my 12yr old granddaughter had a positive covid test and been worryingly poorly, but thankfully rallying now, but my daughter-in-law has lost 2members of her family certainly everything has become more real. Worst thing is not being allowed to be there to help.
Been meaning to congratulate you Christy on your DVD, everything about it is amazing, watched it last weekend and been dipping into it through the week. Sorry for rambling message, genuinely hope everyone stays well. Thank you Hilary for your support. Pam

when the earliest tracks were recorded I was living in Birtle
Woke up early, with ‘Humblebums’ in my head – no bad thing. Great that you caught the superb Gerry Rafferty doc – the family harmony singing blew me away…
Well done Rebecca and Steve – great news – and, some set list ! Rob Burrow’s rugby league playing and his battle with MND are inspirational – supporting by music as well – fair play to all.
Well done Rebeccah and steve, what a great start to the weekend…..and all whilst listening again to The Rose, smiling away about 86mph down the Kilburn high road.

Hello Christy,
Thankyou for your wishes and also to Dave and Brendan.
The gig went well.
I turned up on time and made it work.
Hello, I’m Rebecca Holton and welcome to a corner of my living room.
Sang my heart out
Yellow Furze Woman
Musgrave
Lullaby of London
Dalesman’s Litany
The first time ever I saw your face
28 minutes the way I do them
I missed the human side of it.
Just me in a room.
But it felt ok while I was in there
It was called docstoc47
For motor neurone disease and the rugby player Rob Burrows.
Hopefully next time it will be with real live people, all in the same place as each other.
Rebecca
Young Bob and The Band had a very cool look, as well as being wonderful musicians. Images superbly captured by ace ‘snapper’ Elliott Landy. Great prints in a sale at present, but a fun few minutes to be had, flicking through many classic shots via www,elliottlandy.com
Quality nostalgia on a gloomy morn – have a good day
Dear Christy,
Sharpen your pencil, supergrass, roadstone, chalice, lambs balls, i ran so fast, making tea, green murphy, 6 coates, south african, golden vale, deported me, white star for not cursing, big slate, brandy and port, docs and 501s, platforms, no tax disc, hash, leinster leader, rottweiller, daniel, she was lovely and fair like the roses of the summer……
A poem, a story, a song, a treasure.
I never get fed up of spending ten minutes smiling along. Genius.
Regards
Rory
Suffragette central condemned to UK tier 3 – no surprise as politics enters to settle old scores… so, I escaped down the splendid rabbit holes via music and links at http://www.ingethomson.com and feel better for it. Viva the Inge s of this world..
Good luck to Rebecca – flying the flag for musos everywhere…

Hello Christy,
There’s something about playing actual vinyl records on a turntable. The white vinyl is beautiful to look at as well as to listen to.
It’s moving towards pulling strings to make a noise.
I have an online gig tomorrow. I’ve been running the set everyday so hopefully it will be ok.
How are you doing?
Rebecca

Never heard the YT live but played their recordings….always liked the cut of Peter…
Thanks- you’ve reminded me to get the John Martyn book..He,Beverley and Linda Thompson are credited with many acts of kindness/friendship to Nick Drake during his difficulties.
A few years back, I met N’s sister,Gabrielle. A lovely person/great actress. We’d arranged a chat in the bar area of ‘The Royal Exchange Theatre’ as she took me up on an offer of some info I had about Nick’s career and about his gig, supporting Fairport in 1970. As we sat down to chat, the house system was playing low volume background music. We both froze as ‘Solid Air’ kicked in – a full on ‘hairs on the neck’ moment. First of several chats/correspondence with Gabrielle. What a talented family – and latter day praise for Mum- Molly’s poems and songs.
Have a good day – ‘so long and thanks for all the fish’- Dave
Just came across Jim Page singing his song ‘Pandemic’. Worth a listen if you haven’t already. Not sure if there’s a protocol for posting links on this page. Sure if it’s illegal, they’ll come and take me away. If they can find me. Lockdown here in Basque land comes with a curfew from ten at night to six in the morning. Unless you’re working of course. Folks gotta work. Keep well everyone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVgE_VcA1xk

Protocol is one of those words that can be shaped and bent, used or mis-used…..
You are safe enough Joe…neither Jim nor I stand on ceremony when it comes to sharing songs…
Greetings to the Basque Country
Oh, Christy is saying, Oh, please just leave me alone. Ha,ha,ha.
God bless Christy!

And Steve has got a job. He starts on Tuesday.
I’m so happy to see him do this.
Watching a capable man banging his head against a wall for months has not been great.
I hope we’re all doing ok .
