I do hope you will visit An Riocht before the year is out,,,Beir bua agus Beannacht. H

What鈥檚 the craic? I was just wondering if the bridge song from last night would be an option for the new album? It is so important to not let such songs die. Singing and sharing them keeps them alive.
I wonder how many locations around the country still have bullet holes left from the crown forces.? I know of one where a shop/pub refused to change the name over the door to Donnelly’s.They came and tried to burn the place down and shot in through the windows. The name is still in Irish over the door today and the pub is still very alive and well, you can spot the bullet marks if you know where to look.I My dado Bearna showed me he is very knowledgeable (he knows the Latin names to thousands of plants) , its called O Donnghaile or Donnellys.

Just finished listening to Bruce reading his biography on a 16 CD box set. It has made for some great listening these past months and has shortened manys the journey.
I have few regrets in my working life but there is one. I had the opportunity to sing with Bruce last time he played Croke Park.I lost the nerve, simply could not face the music.
Speaking of Croke Park. I was invited to sing for the Kildare Squad in advance of their meeting with the mighty Dubs in next Sunday’s Leinster Final. It was a wonderful experience.Last Thursday evening I sat in the centre of 35 young Kildare heroes for 70 minutes and sang my heart out to them…they have an almighty task ahead of them….they have a great mentor in Cian O’Neill….they carry the hopes of all us Lilies who love to dream….

Just want to let you now how Brian Wilson was.
Not easy to describe. He looked very fragile, couldn’t get on stage on his one and sang out of tune but he had 10 great musicians to cover him and the audience just loved him. The son of Al Jardine sang a few songs and it sounded like The Beach Boys 50 years ago.
It was a very moving evening to see such a great musician who did what he could.
He had a few concerts in the Netherlands and the critics there from the media where merciless. I’m glad he got in Belgium the respect he deserved.
See you
