Christy, thanks you for one amazing night! I’ve been to many of your gigs and tonight was the best yet. Travelled from a snowy Dunmanway in west cork. thanks for beeswing, I’m singing that in the local these days! Also, reading a book by Geared Hanberry (on raglan road) and it gives the background to Nancy Spain and the Voyage so it was great to hear those tonight knowing how you came to encounter these! All the best Christy, James

HI!
On my way over to Dublin again. It is 40 years since I first came to Belfast, a wee lad from Norway. And I fell in love with the town and the people.
It must have been around that time I first heard you at concert. And I have been coming again and again. The last time you played close to your home-turf.
Tonight I will go to Vicar Street, and listen to you. The heart is also an instrument.
Finn
Christy's reply
Hey Finne….I played once in Norway, way back in 1976……it did not work out too well…I was overtaken by alcohol and performed very badly….but I did learn a song…
