G’day all:
Beautiful day here – waxing between outside with the little dogs, inside cursing at TV football, cranking up Christy on the speakers, knocking off a cup of tea & raiding the lolly jar in the absence of the wife, who’s over your way (Belfast, anyway, last I heard)
The variety of posts here is great info & entertainment: always interesting & well intended & mostly (except for the obvious) lighthearted
Concert goers paint such pleasurable pictures of experiences – lucky buggers
Keep well keep safe be nice to nice people & don’t take any crap from the others
Must be cuppa time again surely…
See ya later
Danny Harris
Hi Christy,
What can I say other than total respect for the manner in which you delivered tonight. …. And your beautiful tribute to Eilish was just magnificent.
Be assured you are all in our thoughts through these next difficult days.
Best regards
Patsy
Hi Christoir,
Have you heard of the Nazi sympathiser Francis Stuart? Bing calls him a “British author!” He was a writer too, and if you search on Bing you will find a photo of this git alongside my profile. Another piece of shite from the Funny People. Writing satire is always tricky. I always aim to find wit in the most controversial subjects. I am a Truth-Teller, not unlike how you sing your songs about injustice and oppression. The FP cause my modem to beep loudly, the printer to switch itself on and of course, there are always a few Dicks around. Ha! Slainte. Keep happy and healthy! Hugsx
Hi Christy looking forward to next update for our annual Christy Moore gig. It’s a big thing for both of us since COVID. My daughter Lisa buys me a Christy ticket every year for Christmas and buy one for herself to join me.
Lisa had a massive stroke in Oct 2019 4 days after having Alfie my grandson. Her favorite Christy Moore song is “Don’t Forget Your Shovel” just wondering if you do it next Saturday could you dedicate to her. Not bad for a girl who wasn’t meant to come home. Very proud dad. Dave Kenny. Thanks.
