Hello Christy,
It’s my gig on Saturday at the Hawick festival. I’ve started making lists.

Home with a cupan tae and tg4 on volume 60.. no better way to spend the bank holiday.
We followed you for years and I remember one year my da stumbled on this gig on tg4 and kept telling us it was some gig and you’d have to see it and see the crowd!!! We got him the DVD and be jaysus he had a hole worn in it in no time.
Very thankful for the treasured memories over the years. What a special venue, truly one of a kind
Christy,
Sitting here watching you on TG4.

Hi Christy
New fan here thanks to my partner. Hes been a fan since he was a child (now 28) and has seen u live a few times now. He has a secret talent of perfectly singing Weekend for Amsterdam word for word as well as many other of your songs. But before I was introduced to ur music properly I didn’t expect u to incorporate irish humour with lyrics so witty and entertaining but delivered so gracefully with ur voice. But also singing for the people too in more serious songs.Thats coming from a women whos music of choice is generally rave music based. That’s what sold it for me. We were gonna come see you in Knightsbrook but we didn’t get tickets on time. So hoping to catch you in 2026 for my first Christy experience.
I asked him there if you met Christy what would you say and he said “I’d ask him how is he keeping. How’s life” so let him know. Currently deep in another night of christy education by himself. And a fun fact I learned was that mother Theresa was on the pill. But sure why wouldn’t she with her medical card 🙄
Christy's reply
Keep Ravin, Rockin & Reelin Lauren..
whatever floats your boat, tickles your fancy,
tell 28 that all is well…Thanks Be
Stopped in my tracks earlier…literally, stopped…in a tram as it navigated a large gathering of people…let’s just say they’d be subjects of Woody Guthrie’s venom for their political views…
I’ve just been stopped again…musically,this time…veteran blues man,Buddy Guy…’I don’t forget’…I hope you and others here,can take a few minutes to find it on YouTube…such magnificent power…
Hi Christy, lovely to see that clip of “The Hackler” surface. A fellow musician who lives close to Grousehall pointed out the residence he last distilled from recently. I was in Ballyshannon last night for the Folk festival. Played “Duffy’s Cut” on the road over. Would have been great to catch Luka tonight but gotta head for Wexford in half an hour.. I’ll check to make sure the Opera House is in good fettle 😄
Hi C I’m just listening to Second Captains featuring Joseph O Connor what a treat on radio1 ? Exploring the communal vibe of sport to artists and performances. Ceist agam ort, did they ever invite you ? Beir bua beannacht. H

dont know what happened to that old drum…I think I might have lost in Woolongong or Warnambool..around the same time as my hair started disappearing
Hi Christy, just spent two hours doing a one hour shop. It’s a bugger reading the small print on all the food packaging when your trying to boycot Israeli goods (and your eye sight is going) but every bit helps. 2DC John.

Never again shall he see, Down the back o’ Ringsend there’s a lonely child playing where the Liffey flows into the sea.
I Wonder how the child is now, you once believed he was running a recording studio, i heard he released some of his own tracks recently and has an underground following.
