I hope all is good with you. My mother celebrated her 23rd birthday the day you were born and she is going to see you for the first time in Tullamore on Saturday if the Eastern Beast allows. You might give her a shout out and play her favorite song The Voyage, she will have her own crew with her on the night
Hey Christy!
Just had to pop on and say a massive massive thank you to you and all the team! Kyle said to be atleast 10 times it was the best night of his life! You all made it so special for him and it was a very emotional night for both of us! Hilary, alan and mick were just so kind and we really enjoyed both their and your company! He said coming home he felt like ye were singing to him only! His dad would of been so proud to see him enjoying the night as much as he did. We will see you again later in the year (said he is gonna work all summer with his gaga and go to as many gigs as he can) so thank you so so much i will never forget the night and the amazing memories both you and your music has given me and kyle x x x x
Christy's reply
Thanks for your feedback..I became aware of Kyle early in the gig….I saw the response when I announced ‘Yellow Furze Woman” and realised ye were in the front row…it was a pleasure to sing “ordinary man” for him and to see his response….I was the same age as Kyle when our dad passed…
see ye again along the way
I’m sorry I missed the shout out Christy but somewhere out there im sure Frank was listening and smiling happily, my dad called out for John o dreams on the sat night and that was your last song so it was great, it was an earworm for days. I don’t know about the Johnny haughton it’s a hurling house here we even have a club set up here in Greenville SC, we play on Sundays and head back to the Irish pub and sing Christy moore on karaoke..(the pub is actually called the Irish pub). Your sister did a super job on the late late..we need people to listen to the songs..really listen not just hear them…untill I get back at Christmas to see you again take care…and thank you.
My name is Danielle Blee and I’m currently studying English Literature and Linguistics at Queens in Belfast. I’m planning on doing my linguistics essay on your songs and I was wondering if perhaps you’re free to do a quick interview. I would be very appreciative, both myself and my dad are very big fans and will be going to your concert in Letterkenney on 6th April in the Clanree. Obviously if you don’t have the time I understand completely, thank you for your time.
Danielle
P.s. My dad got me tickets to your concert in Derry for Christmas and I throughly enjoyed it! I’m looking forward to seeing you again in April!
Great to see Anne Rynne on the L.L.S. . . . . What a song…. I just keep hoping the politicians are thinking # now another one of the Moore Clan is on the case #

Not sure if isla st clair will be free so have put sir harry lauder and the hairy haggis on standby…would give the world to bring back hamish imlach for the trip though would hunt a while for a kilt in the great man’s size.
50/50 would just be a magical event. we are happy to host it here in hawick though i suspect that home turf may be a more favoured calling.
a chance to play so many less heard songs, for so many favourites, for so many different writers, and yet with all those options do you not think that a fifty hour concert would be more in order christy?
it could be like a homage to the coloured box set, you had better get the ice cream vendors stocking up big time as i would say there will be many, many of us ready for the last few choc ices.
all power to your elbow, your plectrum and your vocal chords. i think i will have to go and have a lie down now (before the calcutta cup) with all the excitement and with the mind whirring over the fifty choices (not shades).

Ah, the endless lies of the British empire.
Your knowledge of the WW Histories and your glorified World War movies are all based upon lies. And very few are those who reveal the truth> Now for you the rest of the story.
