So I’m looking forward not only for the Trim gigs, but another one in Vicar St in March – I’m so glad and happy😊
@ Harry: Great choice! I have that guitar without the cutaway (110e) for approx 4 years now and I really like it! Easy to play and a great, crisp sound. Try to play at least a few minutes each day. Good opportunity to play some of Liam’s beautiful songs today.
Quite a few Germans around here now. Perhaps we can revive Pat D’Arcy’s idea of a gathering of your German fans?
Have a good gig in Galway! Last week’s gig reviews sound so good 👍.
All the best from rainy Essen

I’m a Big Christy Fan and even though we have had previous bookings, we didn’t received tickemaster email for pre-bookings – alas!
Travelling from Belgium, France, Holland & Baldoyle to hopefully see Christy in Vicar Street on 2 December.
We so enjoyed last year’s concert in VS but my “Dutchman” missed it and I would dearly like to bring him this time round. Would it be possible to get access to tickets in pre-sale ?
Brenda – committed Christy fan from Brussels ( really enjoyed concerts in “Ancienne Belgique” in the past)
Good evening Christy
Secured tickets for 17th Nov and I’m so happy. Please play Weekend in Amsterdam for us 🙏 🙌

Dear Christy,
You did a shout out and sang Beeswing (one of her favourites) at the Opera House in Wexford recently for my little girl Molly, at her very first Christy gig. She was really delighted and was enthralled by the performance. She is in for a surprise this coming Friday 12th September as we have managed to get tickets for the Salthill gig which is on the actual day of her 10th birthday! Really looking forward to it as I heard that last Friday was a super night!
Best Wishes,

Hi Christy
I was lucky to catch BBC radio 5 news…a piece about the Mercury prize being awarded later (CMAT to win?!)…lengthy chat about and great interview with Martin Carthy…at 84 being the oldest ever nominee.
Martin in high spirits and humourous as ever…he’s released a re recording of his 1965 LP…I feel privileged to have enjoyed his career and to have shared a few gig billings (in support and taxi driver!)
In grim times, music has to be in perspective, but the Carthys of this world ,your good self et al are giving it a good go at raising spirits, thankfully

great that you still do your usual dates in Vicar Street. Even if the dates are a little surprising. Usually I do my Christy Moore Dublin tour in the beginning of january. But I am flexible and I got my tickets for the first gig in Vicar Street on the first of november. And even my favourite table in the second row.
A few years ago I asked you to sing “Victor Jara”. That would be great. If not, no problem. I am happy that i got my ticket, my hotel and now I will book the flight..;) See you in november.
Hi Christy,
A good day in the U.K. despite the visit of a war criminal. I’ve just booked tickets for your show in Dublin on 15th December. My wife Vishva and I were there 2 year ago to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. You were kind enough to dedicate a song for us. The Voyage. This year we will be celebrating our 52nd Anniversary as the voyage continues.
Take care. Tom Murtha.
