Incredible set and brilliant craic tonight. Most songs meant so much personally, especially performed with such passion. Thank you. Lovely touch calling young Harry up. I was in front row and have a short video and some great stills that I’d like to get passed on to his folks. Can someone contact me at profile email and I’ll send them for someone to pass on if that’s ok?
Hi. I m curious how tonight’s gig will go, last week the audience were so welcoming & mellow, with great singing. Most sensible people escape from The 6 this week, like Kevin & Janice Cowan who will be at the gig tonight, but Patsy heads North ! Whatever way the games go there will be some variation of Green n Gold in Croker in 2 weeks time. Best of luck to Cill Dara.Beir bua agus beannacht. H
Hi Christy,
I was having breakfast in a small café on the Lisburn Road, Belfast on Wednesday morning. there was various Irish music on the tannoy, when next up was your good self…”Ordinary man”, and “Beeswing” loud and clear. Got chatting to the lady behind the counter who told me herself and her Dad are massive fans of yours…….It is indeed a small world !!! Any odds on a Royal & Kingdom double this weekend ?
Ride on.

Good morning, Christy. On TV I was watching an Irish sporting success yesterday. Ben Healy won the Tour de France stage after a long solo in the Normandy. Remarkable.
Have a good night in Drogheda.
Success and joy.

Hey Christy, I hope you are doing well. I wanted to stop by and say thanks for Cork last week, I started out the week in Belfast with a curmudgeonly old Van Morrison, then on to Dublin for some tourist trap trad in Temple Bar (for the Yanks but it was ok) then… all together in the big marquee, we raised the roof singing with you, I remember gigs where I wouldn’t sing cause the audience neighbors didn’t want to hear me, I remember nights at the Barras where sure we’d sing along but it was so raucous we couldn’t even hear you. But the Marquee 25 was different, unique in my opinion, it was outstanding, all the big songs and actually all the songs… all of us with you, thank you for setting it up and inviting us to join. Afterwards, we went to the Woodford in Cork for a late night “hammer it home gig” with Hank Wedel and his band. Thanks again Christy and see you soon I hope. Brian C.
My thoughts today are of the broken hearted Palestinian children who have had their dream of a trip of a lifetime, a small break from the IDF murder gangs, shattered by some stiff neck pen pusher. How do these people sleep at night?

Oh that haunting whistle from Mullaghmore even had the hair on my workmates Azerbaijani arms standing : )

Thinking of you all in Drogheda today. I attended a fine gig there with you, and also a lovely art gallery cafe and record shop.
Hugs,
Rebecca

Hi Christy
The second clip, reference in detail to the Palestinian awfulness and our pitiful insignificance.
